L'excursion du cercle d'or a lieu le matin, ce qui permet de disposer d'un intervalle de 3 à 6 heures avant de partir pour l'excursion des aurores boréales. Cet intervalle est l'occasion idéale de dîner ou de se détendre avant de repartir le soir.

Le circuit du cercle d'or vous permettra de visiter les trois trésors naturels emblématiques du pays :Le parc national de Þingvellir, où les plaques américaine et eurasienne se sont écartées l'une de l'autre ; le geyser en éruption qui projette de l'eau et de la vapeur vers le ciel ; et la spectaculaire chute d'eau de Gullfoss, où une rivière glaciaire s'engouffre à 32 mètres dans un canyon. À la tombée de la nuit, l'excursion partira à la recherche des magiques et insaisissables aurores boréales. Bien sûr, tout dépend des prévisions météorologiques et des conditions de visibilité pour savoir si l'excursion peut avoir lieu, alors gardez cela à l'esprit. N'oubliez pas que les aurores boréales ne sont visibles que pendant les mois d'hiver.
