What to expect

Visit the famous castle erected by Emperor Hadrian as his tomb and discover how the Popes turned it into a private residence, state treasure, a prison and a place of public executions throughout history. In just two hours you'll have the chance to discover the rich history of the castle, its magnificent architecture and paintings. You'll be introduced to the Emperor's burial place, the papal apartment and the treasure room.
