Beskrivelse

Denne utflukten byr på ulike måter å oppdage det skjulte Algarve på. I en firehjulstrekker kjører du gjennom et naturreservat, inn i åsene og snubler over tidløse landsbyer på veien. Du kan også besøke landsteder og nyte et avslappende elvecruise.

På jeepsafarien utforsker du Algarves mindre besøkte hjørner og ser lokalbefolkningen utføre sine eldgamle skikker. Underveis stopper dere på en økologisk gård. Et annet høydepunkt er når konvoien kjører i sikksakk gjennom naturreservatet Sapal de Castro Marim e Vila Real do San Antonio.

Lunsjen er også noe helt spesielt. Dere kjører innom en landeiendom for å spise lokale retter som skylles ned med vin. Her har dere utsikt over elven Guadiana og den hvitkalkede landsbyen Foz de Odeleite. Det er også tid til å ta en svømmetur og lytte til levende musikk. Og du kan også se frem til en båttur på Guadiana. Len deg tilbake og nyt utsikten over Spania og Portugal – elven er nemlig grensen mellom de to landene.

Wow we just adored this experience we just had SO much fun! Our guide jaqcin was very kind experienced and funny- he made us laugh so much and gave us such amazing insight. We loved the bio farm and shop, LOVED the food (such good chicken!) and entertainment - the safari was our one let down as it was raining quite heavily but in better weather it would have been so so much fun (our guide still made it enjoyable for us! And the boat ride was so lovely with live music and great views!

Very well organised. We had an excellent and humorous guide,who worked hard to make sure we got the most from the experience. This included the traditional Portuguese songs sung by all the guides and staff where we had a very good lunch. After the bumpy 4x4 safari before lunch we ended with a leisurely cruise down river to our starting point A long but very enjoyable experience exploring the Portuguese countryside.

Jeep safari good fun with lots of interesting info about different fruits and organic farming in the area. Good info about the Cork trees. Meal and entertainment was very lovely at the villa but not given enough time to swim as was suggested. Boat trip OK Not a lot to see along the river banks but having entertainment on board made it a very pleasant experience and people were very friendly.
