Parfois la nature nous offre une combinaison parfaite et c'est le cas de cette excursion. Elle combine l'ascension du cratère du Vésuve avec un déjeuner et une dégustation dans un vignoble. Elle vous rapproche aussi de l'intensité impressionnante du seul volcan actif d'Europe continentale et vous parle des produits issus de son sol volcanique. Mattia, l'un de nos guides locaux experts, explique : "Le vignoble qui se trouve sur les pentes du Vésuve produit des raisins Lacryma Cristi, qui veut dire "larmes du Christ". Selon la légende, Dieu aurait pleuré le vol d'un coin du Ciel par Lucifer et les vignes de Lacryma Cristi ont prospéré là où ses larmes divines sont tombées."

En autocar, vous monterez les flancs du Vésuve jusqu'à 1 000 mètres d'altitude. Ce volcan qui domine le golfe de Naples est entré en éruption en 79 après J.-C., ensevelissant Pompéi. Les sols volcaniques sont extrêmement fertiles, ce qui explique pourquoi la région autour du volcan est peuplée depuis des millénaires. Une fois descendu du bus, vous terminerez le trajet vers le cratère à pied. Le sommet du cratère offre une vue imprenable sur la baie, alors prévoyez votre appareil photo.

Après la visite du cratère, nous découvrirons tout ce qu'il y a à savoir sur le vin Lacryma Cristi, cultivé sur les pentes du volcan. Vous visiterez la cave et comprendrez pourquoi le sol et le climat créent des conditions de culture idéales, donnant des vins qui reflètent le terroir. Vous profiterez aussi d'un déjeuner léger composé de plats fraîchement préparés avec les produits du vignoble, accompagnés des meilleurs vins de leur marque noire.
