Ce qui vous attend

Pompéi et le Mont Vésuve sont "la Belle et la Bête" de la Côte amalfitaine. Au cours de cette excursion à travers des paysages épiques, vous explorerez le site archéologique fascinant de Pompéi, avant de rejoindre le cratère du volcan. Une excursion d'une journée qui met en avant l'histoire et la nature.

Vous commencerez par une visite guidée de Pompéi. Ensevelie sous les cendres volcaniques par l'éruption du Vésuve en 79 après J.C., c'est désormais une œuvre de Dame Nature, inscrite au patrimoine mondial de l'Unesco. Vous découvrirez les villas richement décorées de la noblesse romaine avec des fresques sur les murs encore apparentes, ainsi que des espaces publics tels que le forum, l'amphithéâtre et les casernes de gladiateurs.

Dans l'après-midi, ce sera le Mont Vésuve "l'architecte" et coupable de la destruction de Pompéi. Vous serez conduit jusqu'à 1000 mètres d'altitude et un guide vous accompagnera jusqu'au sommet, afin d'admirer les vues sur la baie de Naples si la visibilité le permet. Sur le chemin du retour, la visite de la fabrique de camées et de coraux sont au programme.

Capri is a small island with a big reputation. On this boat trip, you'll cruise around it, with stops to take in famous natural landmarks as well as swim in the sea. There's also the option of a visit to the Blue Grotto. That's not all though – there'll be some free time in Capri town.Travelling from Maiori, you'll zoom over to Positano or Praiano port by speedboat. On arrival, you'll be welcomed aboard a traditional Sorrentine gozzo boat and sail across the Bay of Naples to Capri. Cruise past the Natural Arch, Santa Croce Bay and the fjord of Furore. There's also a photo stop at Marina di Praia. We'll then continue west, drifting by the Sirenuse Islands, locally known as Li Galli – ‘the Cocks'.Once we've reached Capri, you'll catch sight of the White Grotto, the Natural Arch, Villa Malaparte, Faraglioni Rocks, Marina Piccola and the Green Grotto for a swim. There's an optional visit into the Blue Grotto available, too. We'll then dock in Capri town for some free time for shopping. To round off the cruise, there'll be a swimming stop on the return to Maiori.
