Die Pinienwälder und Küstenklippen im Norden Teneriffas verleihen der Insel ein natürliches und raues Aussehen, aber es ist der vulkanische, fruchtbare Boden, der der Region ihre Hauptattraktionen beschert. Von Weinbergen und Obstplantagen bis hin zu Bananenfarmen und uralten Bäumen werden Sie auf dieser halbtägigen Tour die einheimischen Highlights Teneriffas erleben und kosten.

Als Erstes besuchen Sie Icod de los Vinos, ein Städtchen aus dem 16. Jahrhundert mit einem großartigen Blick auf den Teide. Aber selbst der höchste Gipfel Spaniens kann die Aufmerksamkeit nicht vom Drago Milenario ablenken, einem tausend Jahre alten Drachenbaum, der im botanischen Garten der Stadt einen Ehrenplatz einnimmt. Dieses unglaubliche Exemplar ist über 20 Meter hoch und hat eine Baumkrone, die sich auf über 300 Hauptäste erstreckt. Ihr Tourguide wird Ihnen während Ihres Besuchs erklären, warum dieser einheimische Baum ein kulturelles Symbol der Kanaren ist. Während Ihres Aufenthalts in Icod de los Vinos werden Sie sehen, wie der andere Schatz der Stadt an den Hängen wächst: Bananen. But, when a ship captain called Pedro de Bracamonte visited, he spotted a beautiful Guanche girl and shouted Vi la flor de Chasna, which means I've seen the flower of Chasna – after this, the village got its name.”The dry climate and year-round sunshine in the Canaries mean that aloe vera thrives here, even though it is not a native species – it originally came from the Arabian Peninsula. You'll take a guided tour of the plantation, and the owners will share their knowledge about the curative powers of this well-known plant, which is used for medicinal purposes in cultures throughout history.Next, you'll visit Vilaflor.
