What to expect

At the indicated time you will meet at the Heidelberg train station and begin a guided tour to discover one of the most romantic cities in Germany.

You will start walking from the station to the Charles Theodore Bridge, the oldest in Heidelberg. Admire the Neckar River and see one of the most special sculptures in the city, the Heidelberg monkey. Did you know that it has served as an inspiration to poets and artists throughout history? It will surprise you!

From there, you will cross the Charles Gate, originally called Karlstor. This triumphal arch from the 18th century hides an incredible story that we will reveal to you throughout the tour. In addition, you will go to Karlsplatz to see places such as the Palais Boisserée or the Heidelberg Academy of Sciences.

To conclude the tour, you will review the student history of the town. To do this, you will visit two of its oldest student pubs. You will end the tour by returning to the starting point after two hours of travel.
