Excursion d'une demi-journée à Silves et Monchique au départ d'Albufeira

Er was per mail wat miscommunicatie over het ophaalpunt, maar toen ik ze belde werd ik keurig te woord gestaan en ze losten het voor me op. Leuke gids die veel wist.

De gids Mario heeft de trip tot een hele leuke trip gemaakt. Veel gezien en te weten gekomen over de Algarve.

The driver was excellent and knowledgeable about the area

Very knowledgeable and interesting guide. I learned a lot and really enjoyed the experience (even in the cold and rain)

Onze chauffeur Mario: een topper! Nam alle tijd voor uitleg. Plukte aardbeien van de boom om te laten proeven, plukte granaatappels voor ons enz enz. Tijd maakte niks uit. Complimenten voor Mario.

Silves (fortress & cathedral) were well worth seeing, as was the countryside. Windy and cold at top of Monchique. View was hazy and obscured by poles and wires. No public toilets there. Would have liked to have learned more about the harvesting of cork.
