Herculaneum ist eine antike römische Stadt in der italienischen Region Kampanien. Zusammen mit Pompeji war sie eine der Städte, die durch den verheerenden Ausbruch des Vesuvs im Jahr 79 n. Chr. unter Vulkanasche begraben und erhalten blieben.

Gehen Sie zum Snackbereich neben dem Herculaneum-Ticketschalter. Ihr Reiseleiter erwartet Sie in der Nähe der Verkaufsautomaten mit einem Schild mit der Aufschrift „ARTour“. Wenn Sie mit dem Zug anreisen, steigen Sie an der Haltestelle Ercolano Scavi der Circumvesuviana aus. Bitte finden Sie sich mindestens 15 Minuten vor Abfahrtszeit ein.

Vorab wissen:

Kinder unter 8 Jahren können die 3D-Technologie nicht nutzen. Um kostenlose Tickets für Kinder unter 8 Jahren zu erhalten, müssen Sie vor Beginn der Tour zum Ticketschalter gehen und einen gültigen Ausweis vorlegen, der das Alter des Kindes bestätigt
Nach Abschluss der Tour und Rückgabe der Augmented-Reality-Brille können Sie im archäologischen Park bleiben und die Stätte auf eigene Faust erkunden
Die Tour findet bei jedem Wetter statt. Bitte kleiden Sie sich entsprechend.
AR-Brillen können auch von Teilnehmern getragen werden, die bereits eine Brille tragen
Ein Tourbegleiter empfängt Sie, stattet Sie mit der notwendigen Tourausrüstung aus und begleitet Sie während der gesamten Tour

Am ersten Sonntag jedes Monats ist der Eintritt in den archäologischen Park Herculaneum kostenlos. Es wird daher empfohlen, die Option ohne Ticket (Führung) zu erwerben.
Die offizielle Eintrittskarte kostet 16 € pro Erwachsenem und 2 € pro ermäßigtem Ticket (EU-Bürger von 18–25 Jahren), unter 18 Jahren ist der Eintritt frei. Der Preisunterschied ergibt sich aus den im Angebot enthaltenen Zusatzleistungen.
